ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਰੋਕਣ ਦਾ ਟਰੰਪ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ: ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਜੰਗ ਦਾ ਖਤਰਾ ਟਲਿਆ
ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ, ਜੋ ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜ ਜੈੱਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਚੋਲਗੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਰੋਕਿਆ। ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧ ਡੋਰੋਥੀ ਸ਼ੀਆ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜ ਜੈੱਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਗਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ India-Pakistan conflict ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਵ੍ਹਾਈਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਵਿੱਚ 22 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗੋ ਤੇ ਰਵਾਂਡਾ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਜੰਗਾਂ ਰੁਕਵਾਈਆਂ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜ ਜੈੱਟ ਡੇਗ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਫੋਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੁਣੋ, ਹੁਣ ਹੋਰ ਵਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਭਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੁਲਕ nuclear powers ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਕਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।”

He stated that during the conflict, five jets were shot down, intensifying bilateral tensions. Speaking at a White House event with Congress members on July 22, 2025, Trump said, “We stopped wars between India and Pakistan, and Congo and Rwanda.”
Referring to the India-Pakistan conflict, Trump elaborated, “They shot down five jets. I called India and Pakistan and told them, ‘Listen, there will be no more trade if you continue like this. This won’t do you any good.’ Both are nuclear powers, and who knows what the outcome of this conflict could have been—a nuclear war. I stopped it.”
Trump also claimed that the U.S. neutralized Iran’s entire nuclear capabilities and resolved conflicts between Kosovo and Serbia. During a UN Security Council debate on July 23, 2025, themed “Multilateralism and Peaceful Resolution of Disputes” led by Pakistan, U.S. Acting Representative Dorothy Shea confirmed that the Trump administration played a significant role in mediation to reduce bilateral tensions in the India-Pakistan conflict. She stated, “The U.S. is committed to mediating disputes and promoting peace efforts globally.”
Trump’s U.S. intervention was pivotal in de-escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, averting the threat of a nuclear war. According to his claims, this action prevented a catastrophic outcome. The effort is part of broader U.S. initiatives to address global conflicts and maintain stability.
