ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਠੰਢ ਦੀ ਜਕੜ: ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਦਾ ਅਲਰਟ
ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਗੜਬੜੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੀਨਗੋਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਠੰਢ ਵਧੇਗੀ। ਟਰਾਈਸਿਟੀ (ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ) ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਇਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਠੰਢ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਵਧ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 7.4 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਕੜ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਪੱਛਮੀ ਗੜਬੜੀ (Western Disturbance) ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਕਾਰਨ ਟਰਾਈਸਿਟੀ (ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ) ਸਮੇਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੋ ਤੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸੀਤ ਲਹਿਰ (Cold Wave) ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 7.4 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਗੜਬੜੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਿਮਾਲੀਅਨ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਵਧੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਅਸਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ 'ਤੇ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਮਨਫੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੀ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਸ੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਮਨਫੀ 3.6 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਕਾਜ਼ੀਗੁੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਫੀ 2.8 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਕੁਪਵਾੜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਫੀ 3.6 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮਾਹਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀ ਵਰਤਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
North India is firmly gripped by cold weather. According to meteorologists from the weather department, due to the influence of a Western Disturbance, dense fog will prevail in Punjab, Haryana, and the Tricity (Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula) over the next two to three days. A Cold Wave is also expected in several locations during this period.
The temperature in Chandigarh and its surrounding areas has already recorded a significant drop. The minimum temperature in Ludhiana was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists explained that the Western Disturbancewill intensify the cold in the Himalayan regions, which will directly impact Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the severity of the cold is much higher in the Kashmir Valley, where the minimum temperature was recorded below freezing. The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 3.6 degrees Celsius, while Qazigund recorded minus 2.8 degrees Celsius and Kupwara in North Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 3.6 degrees Celsius. Experts have advised the public to take precautions in view of the dense fog expected in the coming days.
