ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ 20 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਗਲ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਪੰਜ ਗੈਲਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਰਕੀਟੈਕਚਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੋ ਗੇੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਗੇੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਭਵਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਰਵਰੀ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਗੇੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਬਲਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਪੰਜ ਗੈਲਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੁੱਲ ਲਾਗਤ 29 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਜਾਇਬਘਰ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਯੋਧੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਨੂੰ ਢੁੱਕਵੇਂ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਗੇਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਗੇ ਮਾਡਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਵਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਜੁੜਾਅ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜੀ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਹੈ। ਤੀਜੀ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਪੰਡਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ, ਨੌਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਡਨੀ ਚੌਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦਾ ਆਡੀਓ-ਵਿਜ਼ੂਅਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਜੈਤਾ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸੀਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀਨ ਵੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਚੌਥੀ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ, ਪਹਿਲੇ ਢੋਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ, ਵਿਆਹ, ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਤਪ ਸਥਾਨ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦਾ ਐਨੀਮੇਟਿਡ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਨਾਲ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰਸਤੇ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਵੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੇਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਸੰਗਮਰਮਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ 25 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ 31 ਮਾਰਚ 2026 ਤੱਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the modern memorial of Sikh martyr Baba Jiwan Singh at Sri Anandpur Sahib on Sunday. This memorial, built at a cost of 20 crore rupees, features five galleries dedicated to humanity that provide detailed information about Baba Jiwan Singh's life and his martyrdom fighting Mughal soldiers in the historic Battle of Chamkaur Sahib. The Chief Minister stated that on the sacred land of Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa, these galleries in memory of Baba Jiwan Singh are being inaugurated, with the design prepared by the architecture department of Guru Nanak Dev University. The project was completed in two phases: the main building in the first phase inaugurated in February 2024, and the five galleries in the two blocks of the building dedicated today, bringing the total cost to 29 crore rupees. The museum will appropriately showcase the life and sacrifice of the great Sikh warrior Baba Jiwan Singh, with visitors receiving information about the memorial through models and videos at the entrance gate. The first gallery provides information about the Sikh Gurus and illustrates the spiritual connection of Baba Jiwan Singh's ancestors with them from the beginning. The second gallery portrays the marriage of his parents, his birth, and the family lineage. The third gallery depicts the persecution of Kashmiri Pandits, their plea to the Ninth Guru Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, his departure from Sri Anandpur Sahib for martyrdom, and Baba Jiwan Singh's early life and education, including an audio-visual presentation of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji's martyrdom at Chandni Chowk and a recreated scene of Bhai Jaita Ji bringing back the Guru's severed head. The fourth gallery highlights Baba Jiwan Singh's arduous journey to bring Guru Ji's head from Delhi's Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib to Kiratpur Sahib, his role as the first drummer, marriage, the creation of the Khalsa, and bravery in various battles. The fifth gallery showcases historic meditation sites related to Baba Jiwan Singh Ji at Sri Anandpur Sahib, the departure of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his family from Anandpur Sahib, and concludes with an animated representation of Baba Jiwan Singh Ji's life and martyrdom, using modern technology to bring history to life. On the same day, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann laid the foundation stone for a heritage walkway at Sri Anandpur Sahib. He expressed gratitude that the Almighty gave him the opportunity to be part of this noble service and affirmed the Punjab government's commitment to the development of this sacred land, developing the path to Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib as a heritage walkway using white marble. This project will be developed at a cost of 25 crore rupees and completed by March 31, 2026.
