ਸਰਪੰਚ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ, ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੀ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ
ਸ਼ਹਿਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਧਰਨਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਤੇ ਚੱਕਾ ਜਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੀ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਤਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸ਼ਹਿਣਾ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਮਲਕੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਧਰਨਾ ਅੱਜ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਿਹਾ। ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਲੋਕ ਆਗੂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਤੰਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਚੁਭਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਤੇ ਚੱਕਾ ਜਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ, ਬਲਾਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਣਾ ਦੇ ਪੰਚਾਂ-ਸਰਪੰਚਾਂ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜੱਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਾਪੂ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੀ ਧਰਨੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਜੋ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੋਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਰੱਬ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨ ਲਈਏ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਕਰੀਏ। ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਝੋਟਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਲਾ ਢਿੱਲੋ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਬੀਬੀ ਹਰਚੰਦ ਕੌਰ ਘਨੌਰੀ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿੰਮਾ, ਬੀਬੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਬਾਲੀਆਂ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਈਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਕਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਗਸੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੀਨੀਵਾਲ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਚੜੂਨੀ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬੱਬੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ, ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਲੱਖਾ ਸਿਧਾਣਾ, ਪੰਨਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਤਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁੱਗਲ, ਕਸਬੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਣੇ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਨਾਜ਼ਮ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੰਡੇਰ, ਸਰਕਲ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ, ਪੰਚ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਿਜੈਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਤਹਿ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਤਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
The sit-in protest for justice in the murder of Sukhwindar Singh Kalkatta, son of former sarpanch Malkit Kaur Kalkatta in Shahina town, continued into its second day today. Sukhwindar Singh Kalkatta was known as a people's leader who raised voices for the public and was a thorn in the side of the government machinery. The police have taken his body for postmortem and detained some individuals. A blockade was enforced at the bus stand, with social service organizations, panchs and sarpanchs from Shahina block, farmer unions, and villagers participating in large numbers day and night. On this occasion, Sidhu Moosewala's father, Bapu Balkaur Singh Sidhu, also arrived at the protest site and addressed the gathering. He said that the agony he has endured in the past three years after his son's murder is known only to him, and if God wills, we accept it, but what can we do when governments do this. Social activist Parminder Singh Jhotta also addressed the crowd. The protest saw participation from MLA Kuldeep Singh Kala Dhillo, former MLAs Bibi Harchand Kaur Ghanouri, Nirmal Singh Nimma, Bibi Surinder Kaur Baliyan, senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar Imaan Singh Maan, district president of Kisan Union Kadian Jagsir Singh Chhinniwal, district president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Chadurauni Babu Singh Pandher, social activist Lakha Sidhana, Panna Singh Sidhu, Tarnjeet Singh Duggal, sarpanch of Shahina town Nazam Singh, former sarpanch Amritpal Singh, district president of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar Darshan Singh Mander, circle president Gurjeet Singh, along with leaders from various clubs, panchs, sarpanchs, and farmer unions from villages in large numbers. Former minister Vijay Inder Singla held a press conference and demanded that the administration probe the murder to its roots and award the strictest punishments to the killers.
