ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ: ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ

ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਦੀ ਈਆਈਏ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਤੇ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੇਧਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਮਰੱਥਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਸ਼ਾਵਾਦੀ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਮੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਸਪੀਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿਭਿੰਨਤਾ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ, ਰੀਤੀ-ਰਿਵਾਜਾਂ, ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਣ-ਫੁੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਧਰਮ, ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ, ਧਰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧਾਰਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਤਣਾਅ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਜੋਖਮ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 16-17 ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਣ-ਫੁੱਲਣ ਦੇਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਵੈਮਸੇਵਕ ਸੰਘ (ਆਰਐੱਸਐੱਸ) ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਭਾਜਪਾ) ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੇਧਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਧੁਰਾ ਕਾਇਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਚੀਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲੜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਇਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਨਾਇਕ ਦਾਮੋਦਰ ਸਾਵਰਕਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਾਵਰਕਰ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਾਇਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਆਰਐੱਸਐੱਸ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭੱਜਣਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ-ਆਰਐੱਸਐੱਸ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਆਰਐੱਸਐੱਸ ਦੀ 100ਵੀਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਗਿਰੀਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਗਿਰੀਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਸੰਘ ਦਾ ਵਾਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਘ ਦਾ ਵਾਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਉਹ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗਿਰੀਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਰਐੱਸਐੱਸ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੇਧਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਚਰਚਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਗਰਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi today addressed an event at EIA University in Colombia and said that the attack on democracy in India is the biggest challenge facing the country. Targeting the Narendra Modi government, he stated that the country has strong capabilities in fields like engineering and healthcare, so he is very optimistic about India. But he also said that there are some shortcomings in the structure that need to be fixed, and the biggest challenge among them is the attack on democracy. In his Colombia speech, Rahul Gandhi emphasized that the democratic system is essential for diversity, which allows different traditions, customs, ideas, and religious beliefs to grow. He said that India has many religions, traditions, and languages, and the country is actually a place of dialogue among all these people and cultures. The best way to create space for different traditions, religions, and ideas is the democratic system, but now it is under a major attack, which is a big threat. He also said that tension between different ideologies in some parts of the country is another major risk, and with 16-17 major languages and many religions, it is very important to allow these diverse traditions to flourish.

Rahul Gandhi also targeted the ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJPA) and said that its main axis is cowardice. He referred to a statement by the Foreign Minister where he said that China is much more powerful than us and how can we fight them. Rahul Gandhi said that cowardice is at the core of the ideology. He mentioned an incident from Vinayak Damodar Savarkar's book where Savarkar wrote that he and his friends beat a Muslim person and felt happy about it. Reacting to this, Rahul Gandhi said that if five people beat one person and feel happy about it, it is cowardice. This is the RSS ideology of beating weak people and running away from those who are more powerful than them. This is the nature of BJP-RSS.

Additionally, on the occasion of the RSS centenary, Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticized Rahul Gandhi's statements. Giriraj Singh said that people like Rahul Gandhi only know how to hurl abuses, and even if he gets seven lives, he cannot become an RSS volunteer. He said that RSS volunteers are those who work for the pride and honor of India, not those who insult it. Giriraj Singh praised the role of RSS and also targeted Congress, saying that when a party is led by a person like Rahul Gandhi, it is a shameful situation. These statements by Rahul Gandhi have further heated up the political discussion in India, and the opposition has termed it an important appeal for the protection of democracy.
