ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਦੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ
ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਟਕਪੂਰਾ-ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਸੜਕ ’ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਨੇੜੇ ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਅਰਸ਼ ਸੱਚਰ ਦੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਪੀਲਾ ਪੰਜਾ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਹਟਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਹੋਈ, ਜੋ 10 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗਰੀਨ ਟ੍ਰਿਬਿਊਨਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ’ਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ। ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਗੁਰਦਿੱਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੈ।
ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਦੀ ਕੋਟਕਪੂਰਾ-ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਸੜਕ ’ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਅਰਸ਼ ਸੱਚਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ’ਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪੀਲਾ ਪੰਜਾ ਚਲਾਇਆ। ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਗਰੀਨ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਲਈ ਰੱਖੀ ਥਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਅਰਸ਼ ਸੱਚਰ ਨੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ’ਤੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ‘ਆਪ’ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਦਫਤਰ ਵੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਪੂਨਮਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹੋਟਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਲੋਨੀ ਵੀ ਵਸਾਈ ਸੀ।
ਕਲੋਨੀ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਰੀਨ ਟ੍ਰਿਬਿਊਨਲ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਲੋਨੀ ਦੇ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਰੀਨ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੱਖੀ ਥਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਗਭਗ 10 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਚੱਲੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਇਹ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਗੁਰਦਿੱਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਅਰਸ਼ ਸੱਚਰ ਦਾ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਜ਼ਬਾ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
In Faridkot, on the Kotkapura-Faridkot road near Shahi Haveli, the district administration took decisive action against an illegal land occupation by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arsh Sachar, involving property worth crores. The Punjab administration deployed bulldozers to clear the illegal occupation in the green zone area near Shahi Haveli, under heavy security, ensuring compliance with legal action mandated by the Green Tribunal.
For a long time, AAP leader Arsh Sachar had illegally occupied this land and had even set up an AAP party office on the site. According to information, this operation was carried out on the orders of Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur. The owners of Shahi Hotel and Haveli had developed a colony in the area, which was also affected by the illegal occupation.
Residents of the colony had filed a written complaint with the Green Tribunal, stating that the developers had illegally occupied the green zone and public spaces. Following this complaint, a legal battle spanning nearly 10 years culminated in the removal of the illegal land occupation today.
Faridkot MLA Gurpreet Singh Sekhon stated that the legal action to clear AAP leader Arsh Sachar’s illegal land occupation was conducted strictly according to the law, with no political interference involved. This operation reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to upholding ethics, legality, and national security in addressing such violations.
