ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ - 52 ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਬਰਖ਼ਾਸਤ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ 52 ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਰਖ਼ਾਸਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਈ-ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ 52 ਪੁਲੀਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਰਖ਼ਾਸਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਰਖ਼ਾਸਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ, ਪੰਜ ਏਐਸਆਈ, ਚਾਰ ਹੌਲਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ 42 ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੈਰਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ।
ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੋਈ ਢਿੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੰਜ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਬਰਖ਼ਾਸਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਉਚਿਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਈ-ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਈ-ਕੋਰਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ।

Under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has taken a strict action against corruption by dismissing 52 Punjab police officers and employees. This action is part of the government's mission to make Punjab Police more transparent and reliable.
The dismissed police personnel include one inspector, five ASIs, four head constables, and 42 constables. This move follows recent reports of corrupt officers being involved in extortion and illegal activities.
DGP Gaurav Yadav stated in a press conference that the government is committed to cleaning up Punjab Police and ensuring accountability at every level. He also hinted that the anti-corruption campaign will intensify in the coming weeks.
Reports suggest that Patiala district saw the highest number of dismissals, followed by Kapurthala and Ludhiana.
Additionally, the Punjab government is implementing major reforms in Punjab Police, including the introduction of e-FIR and e-courts to make the system more accessible to the public.
This action reinforces the commitment to eliminating corruption and strengthening public trust in Punjab Police.
