‘ਆਪ’ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਵਧੀਆਂ: ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ 7 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ
ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਨੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਝਟਕਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ। ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ 7 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਲਈ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕਰਨੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧਦੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੇ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ 'ਤੇ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ 7 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੱਗੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਅਜੇ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜਾਂਚ ਟੀਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਕੁਝ ਅਹਿਮ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਮਦਗੀ ਲਈ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਹਮੋ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬਿਠਾ ਕੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕਰਨੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੰਬੇ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੇ ਵਕੀਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਦਲਾਖੋਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਨਵਾਂ ਆਧਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਤੱਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਗੌਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ।
Legal troubles continue to mount for Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Sanaur, following his arrest. During a court appearance in Patiala today, the police requested an extension of his remand. After hearing the arguments, the honorable court ordered Pathanmajra to be sent back to police custody for an additional 7 days.
Police officials argued in court that the investigation into the allegations against Pathanmajra remains incomplete. According to the investigation team, it is essential to interrogate the MLA in person to recover critical documents and digital evidence. It is reported that the police are also probing the involvement of several other individuals in this case, which led to the request for an extended remand.
On the other hand, the MLA's counsel opposed the remand, labeling it a case of political vendetta and a deliberate attempt to harass their client. They claimed that the police have no fresh grounds to seek an extension. However, the court decided to extend the remand after considering the facts presented by the police.
