ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਦੇ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ੇ 'ਤੇ ਬੋਲੇ ਸੀਐਮ ਮਾਨ: 'ਚਾਹੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਬਰਾਬਰ'
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਦੇ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਚੁੱਪ ਤੋੜੀ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ (DM) ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਸੀਐਮ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਸਾਡੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਟਾਲਰੈਂਸ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਚਾਹੇ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਡਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਆਗੂ, ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।" ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨਾ ਪਵੇ।
ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਰੀਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਦਬਾਅ ਜਾਂ ਗਲਤੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਗਲਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੇ ਹਲਚਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨਾਕਾਮੀ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸੀਐਮ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ' ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
Following the political turmoil triggered by the tragic suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, District Manager (DM) of the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has issued a significant statement. After Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar submitted his resignation on moral grounds, CM Mann stated in clear terms that no one is above the law in his government.
Speaking during a press conference, the Chief Minister said, "From the very beginning, our government has followed a policy of zero tolerance against corruption and high-handedness. Be it our own minister, an MLA, or an opposition leader, if anyone’s involvement is found in wrongdoing, they will not be spared." Mann added that Laljit Bhullar himself submitted his resignation so that the investigation could proceed in an impartial manner without any influence.
Responding to the allegations leveled by the opposition, the Chief Minister noted that in previous governments, accusations against ministers were often suppressed, but the AAP government prioritizes transparency. Expressing sympathy for the family of the deceased official, he assured that every aspect of the case is being thoroughly investigated. If any pressure or fault is discovered at any level, strict legal action will be initiated.
This incident has caused a major stir in Punjab's political circles. While the opposition labels this a failure of the government, CM Mann has attempted to present it as an example of the 'rule of law.'
