ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਉਪ ਚੋਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ 'ਚ ਰਹੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਕੰਚਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਝਬਾਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ 11 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਜ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਮਜੀਠਾ ਥਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਕੇਸ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤਫ਼ਤੀਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਉਸ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੁੱਲ ਪੰਜ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ 'ਝੂਠਾ ਕੇਸ' ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੈਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਉਪ ਚੋਣ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਰਚਿਤ ਰਹੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਆਗੂ ਕੰਚਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਝਬਾਲ ਥਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੰਚਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਉਪ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੋਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੰਚਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਦਾਲਤੀ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਜੀਠਾ ਥਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤਫ਼ਤੀਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਸੀ।
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਝਬਾਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੰਚਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ 11 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਜ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਮਜੀਠਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ 12 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਕੇਸ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਈ ਘੰਟੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂਉੱਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੁੱਲ ਪੰਜ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

He firmly stated that by registering a False Case against a daughter of Punjab, the pride of Punjabis has been directly challenged, and he stressed that she is the daughter of a religious soldier who has been wrongfully nominated by the Punjab Police.
