ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਦੁਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ 2025 ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ 5 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਵਾਰ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ 19.1 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 146 ਦੌੜਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਆਊਟ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਤਿਲਕ ਵਰਮਾ (69*) ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਯਾਦਵ ਦੀ 4 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 19.4 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਰਹੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਭਿਸ਼ੇਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ 5 ਦੌੜਾਂ, ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਯਾਦਵ 1 ਦੌੜ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਮਨ ਗਿੱਲ 12 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਆਊਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਤਿਲਕ ਵਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਜਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਮ ਦੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਪਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਿਵਾਈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਟਾਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
