ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਗੜਬੜੀ (Western Disturbance) ਨੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਦਾ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਜ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਂਹ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਕ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਕਣਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਰ੍ਹੋਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਫ਼ਿਕਰਮੰਦ ਹਨ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਉਡਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇੱਕ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਗੜਬੜੀ (Western Disturbance) ਦੇ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੀਂਹ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਲਸਿਲਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਲਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਈ ਹੈ।
ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਮਾਰ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਈ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਕ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਜਾਂ ਗੜੇਮਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਝਾੜ 'ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾੜਾ ਅਸਰ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਛ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਦਾਣਾ ਕਾਲਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਵਾਢੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਵੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਰ੍ਹੋਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਢੀ ਕਈ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮੌਸਮ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੌਸਮ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ 48 ਤੋਂ 72 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੱਦਲਵਾਈ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਜ-ਚਮਕ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਾਢੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਟਨਾਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਖਾਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਰੋਕ ਦੇਣ।
ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਪਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਨਮੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ। ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਮੌਸਮ ਜਲਦ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਝੱਲਣਾ ਪੈ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
The changing weather patterns in Haryana have left farmers distressed. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of a fresh Western Disturbance, rain and strong winds are likely to continue across various districts of the state. Over the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in several areas, leading to a dip in temperature.
This natural blow has occurred at a time when the year-long labor of farmers stands ripe and ready in the fields. The wheat crop is nearing harvest, and at such a stage, rain or hailstorms can severely impact both the quality and the yield. Strong winds can cause the wheat stalks to flatten (lodging), which not only discolors the grain but also makes harvesting extremely difficult. The mustard crop, which has already seen harvesting start in some places, also faces a significant threat from this weather.
Meteorological experts have warned that cloudy conditions will persist over the next 48 to 72 hours, with potential thunderstorms and rain. Farmers have been advised to keep harvested crops in safe locations and to halt the application of pesticides or fertilizers for the time being.
The Haryana Mandi Board has also issued an alert, stating that produce brought to the markets should be covered with tarpaulins to prevent moisture-related issues during the selling process. Farmers express that if the weather does not clear soon, they may face heavy economic losses.
