ਦਿੱਲੀ-ਐਨਸੀਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ‘ਗੰਭੀਰ ਪਲੱਸ’: ਹਵਾ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਿਗੜਨ 'ਤੇ GRAP-IV ਲਾਗੂ
ਕੌਮੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਨਸੀਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਗੰਭੀਰ ਪਲੱਸ' ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਏਅਰ ਕੁਆਲਿਟੀ ਇੰਡੈਕਸ (AQI) ਇਸ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਾੜੇ ਪੱਧਰ 431 'ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਾਰ ਏਅਰ ਕੁਆਲਿਟੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ (CAQM) ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਡਿਡ ਰਿਸਪਾਂਸ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਪਲਾਨ (GRAP) ਦੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਪੜਾਅ (GRAP-IV) ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਕੌਮੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਐਨਸੀਆਰ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਅੱਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਵਿਗੜ ਗਿਆ। ਕਈ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਅਰ ਕੁਆਲਿਟੀ ਇੰਡੈਕਸ (AQI) 400 ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਲਾਤ 'ਗੰਭੀਰ ਪਲੱਸ' ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ AQI ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਾੜੇ ਪੱਧਰ 431 'ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ 11 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਦੇ 428 ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਾਰ ਏਅਰ ਕੁਆਲਿਟੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ (CAQM) ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਡਿਡ ਰਿਸਪਾਂਸ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਪਲਾਨ (GRAP) ਦੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਪੜਾਅ (GRAP-IV) ਤਹਿਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। CAQM ਅਤੇ GRAP ਸਬ-ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਗੜਨ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਦਿੱਲੀ-ਐਨਸੀਆਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾੜੇ ਹਨ। ਨੋਇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ AQI 455 ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਨੋਇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ 442 ਰਿਹਾ। ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧ ਰਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣਕਾਰਨ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝਣਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 25.5 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 8 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਰਿਹਾ।
The level of pollution in the National Capital Delhi and its adjoining NCR areas worsened significantly today. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in several areas surpassed 400, pushing the situation into the 'Severe Plus' category. Delhi's AQIwas recorded at 431, the worst level this season, exceeding the previous record of 428 on November 11.
In view of this severe pollution situation, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has immediately implemented all necessary restrictions under Phase IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-IV). The CAQMand the GRAP sub-committee took this decision in an effort to prevent further deterioration of the air quality.
The situation is also very poor in the Delhi-NCR cities. Noida recorded an AQI of 455 and Greater Noida recorded 442. Due to the continuously rising pollution, residents of Delhi are struggling with respiratory and health issues. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 8 degrees Celsius.
