ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਐਚ.ਐਸ. ਫੂਲਕਾ 'ਤੇ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਹਮਲਾ: ‘ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ’ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਉੱਘੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਐਚ.ਐਸ. ਫੂਲਕਾ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸ਼ਬਦੀ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਫੂਲਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਲਵਾੜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਫੂਲਕਾ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਧ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਤਕਰਾਰ ਵਧਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੂਲਕਾ 'ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਾਧਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਭਰੋਸੇਹੀਣ’ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਜਨਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਚ.ਐਸ. ਫੂਲਕਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਤੋੜਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਉਦੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਫੂਲਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ-ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਤਵੇ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਾਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਿਆਸਤ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਬਲਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਮਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੂਲਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਰਹੇ।
ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਛੇੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਐਚ.ਐਸ. ਫੂਲਕਾ ਨੇ 1984 ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ‘ਆਪ’ ਛੱਡਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
Political friction between former allies in Punjab has intensified once again. Phoolka broke the public's trust at a time when the state needed them the most.
Recalling the past, the Chief Minister mentioned that when the Aam Aadmi Party was struggling in Punjab, the people had accorded great respect to Phoolka. However, instead of fulfilling his political responsibilities, he insulted the public's mandate by resigning. According to Mann, politics is not a hobby but a major responsibility for serving the people, which Phoolka failed to uphold.
This statement has sparked a fresh debate in Punjab's political circles. It is noteworthy that H.S. Phoolka played a pivotal role in securing justice for the victims of the 1984 Sikh genocide, earning him immense respect among Punjabis. However, his decision to leave AAP and resign from his post as an MLA had disappointed many party leaders.
