ਚੀਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰੇ, ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ 'ਚ ਛੋਟਾਂ
ਚੀਨ ਨੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਟੈਰਿਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਛੋਟਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸਬੰਧ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਭਾਰਤ-ਚੀਨ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਹੱਦੇ ਜੋੜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਟੈਰਿਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਚੀਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਚੀਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਛੋਟਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਚੀਨੀ ਦੂਤਾਵਾਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ 9 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਥਿਤ ਚੀਨੀ ਦੂਤਾਵਾਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਂਸੁਲੇਟਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ 85,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵੀਜ਼ੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਚੀਨੀ ਰਾਜਦੂਤ ਸ਼ੂ ਫੇਈਹੋਂਗ ਨੇ ਐਕਸ 'ਤੇ ਇਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਅਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਚੀਨ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ, ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ, ਜੀਵੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਨਾ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਕਰਨ।"
ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਤਹਿਤ ਹੁਣ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਲਈ ਅਗਾਊਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਏਗੀ। ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੰਮਕਾਜੀ ਦਿਨ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਛੋਟੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਾਇਓਮੈਟਰਿਕ ਡੇਟਾ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਵੀ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਫੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਅਮਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਚੀਨ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲਾਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੈ, ਬਲਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਟਨੀਤਕ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਚੀਨੀ ਦੂਤਾਵਾਸ ਦੀ ਤਰਜਮਾਨ ਯੂ ਜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਚੀਨ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵਿਕਾਸਸ਼ੀਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਪਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਟੈਰਿਫ ਦੀ 'ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ' ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਨ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਭਾਰਤ-ਚੀਨ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਹੱਦੇ ਜੋੜ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਲਮੀ ਵਪਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੂ-ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤਣਾਅ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
During the ongoing tariff war with the United States, China has taken significant steps to improve its relations with India. The Chinese Embassy in India announced that over 85,000 visas were issued to Indian nationals between January 1 and April 9, 2025. This move is part of China's strategy to strengthen diplomatic and trade ties with India.
Chinese Ambassador Xu Feihong stated on X, "We hope more Indian nationals will visit China and experience its open, safe, vibrant, and friendly culture."
Under this initiative, Indian citizens no longer need to schedule appointments for visa applications and can directly visit visa centers on working days. The requirement for biometric data submission for short-term visits has also been waived. Additionally, visa fees have been reduced, and the application process has been expedited.
China's primary objective with these changes is not only to boost tourism but also to solidify trade and diplomatic relations with India. Chinese Embassy spokesperson Yu Jing emphasized that both India and China, as developing nations, should collaborate in trade. She also criticized the United States for its misuse of tariffs and urged India to support China in this matter.
Experts believe that these measures could usher in a new era in India-China relations, especially at a time when global trade is affected by geopolitical tensions.
