ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼: ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਸਮੇਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ, 4.3 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (AAP) ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਆਗੂ ਸਮੇਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 4.3 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਤਾਰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਕਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਢੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਦੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਾਕਾਬੰਦੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 4.3 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਉੱਚ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਆਗੂ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਖੇਪ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਤਾਰ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਡਰੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਛੇੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ NDPS ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੂਰੇ ਗਿਰੋਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
During a campaign against drug smugglers in the border district of Amritsar, police achieved significant success when the involvement of a political leader in drug trafficking came to light. During a routine check-up, police intercepted a vehicle and recovered 4.3 kilograms of high-quality heroin. Three suspects were apprehended on the spot, one of whom has been identified as a local leader of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
According to police officials, preliminary interrogation of the arrested suspects is underway. Investigators are working to determine the source of the heroin consignment and its intended destination. Police suspect that the links of this network may extend across the border to Pakistani smugglers who use drones to supply drugs. The arrest of a political leader has sparked widespread discussion in the region, with opposition parties raising questions about the government's stance.
The Police Commissioner of Amritsar made it clear that no person involved in drug trafficking will be spared, regardless of their political affiliation. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act, and they will be produced in court to obtain remand for further investigation to dismantle the entire gang.
