ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਲਈ 2000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿੱਖ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੱਥਾ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਰਵਾਨਾ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਲਈ 2000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੱਥਾ ਅੱਜ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਵੀ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜੱਥਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ। ਜੱਥਾ 13 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਜੱਥਾ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਜੱਥੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਧੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਜੱਥਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ 5 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਜੱਥੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਐੱਨਆਰਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਸੀ।
ਅਟਾਰੀ-ਵਾਹਗਾ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੜਕ ਮਾਰਗ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਭਗ 2000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੰਨਣ, ਮੈਂਬਰ ਫੁੱਮਣ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਕੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਲਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਲੀਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਪਾਓ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੱਥੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੱਥਾ ਲੀਡਰ ਬੀਬੀ ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਭੋਲੂਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਲੀਡਰ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੂਹ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਲਗਭਗ 1796 ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਮਨਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 13 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣਗੇ।
ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਲੇਵਾ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਦੀ ਵਧਾਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਮ ਜਪੋ, ਕਿਰਤ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਡ ਛਕੋ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਜਤਾਈ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਲਈ ਜੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਵੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ, ਵੰਡ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਿਛੜੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਾਧਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਜੱਥਾ ਅੱਜ ਹੀ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
A large group of Sikh pilgrims departed today from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) office for a pilgrimage to Gurdwaras in Pakistan to celebrate the Prakash Purb of the first Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, is also part of this group to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib. This is the first Sikh jatha allowed to travel to Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. The Prakash Purb falls on November 5. This year, the central government has permitted only Indian citizens to join the jatha. Previously, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) were also allowed.
Approximately over 2000 Sikh pilgrims will travel to Pakistan via the Attari-Wagah border by road. Before departure, SGPC Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan, member Fumman Singh, Secretary Pratap Singh, and Balwinder Singh Kahlon honored the jatha leader and others with siropas amid resounding Jaikaras.
Under the leadership of Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, the jatha includes SGPC-appointed jatha leader Bibi Gurinder Kaur Bholuwala and deputy leader Gurmeet Singh Booh. According to the spokesperson, approximately 1796 Sikh pilgrims under SGPC leadership have departed for Pakistan. They will celebrate Prakash Purb at Nankana Sahib and, after visiting various Gurdwaras, return to India on November 13.
Before leaving, Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj congratulated the entire Sikh community and Nanak Naam Leva Sangat on Prakash Purb and inspired them to adopt Guru Sahib's teachings of Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, and Vand Chhako in life and follow the path shown by Guru Sahib. He expressed hope that just as permission has been granted for the jatha to visit Gurdwaras in Pakistan on Prakash Purb, the Kartarpur Corridor will soon be reopened. He said the Kartarpur Corridor is not just a path to the Gurdwara but has also proven to be a way to reunite families separated during Partition. Additionally, a jatha from the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee also departed for Pakistan today with this group.
