ਅਸਾਮ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਥੀ ਅੱਜ ਮੁੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ 25 ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਟੀਮ, ਐਸਪੀ ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ, ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਿਆ ਸਕੇ। ਇਹ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਨ: ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਾਜੇਕੇ, ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਸੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਅੱਜ ਅਸਾਮ ਦੀ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਖਡੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਿਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਕੌਮੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਐਕਟ (ਐਨਐਸਏ) ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦੀ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਰਿਹਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਇਕ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਥਾਣੇ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਟਰਾਂਜ਼ਿਟ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ 25 ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਟੀਮ, ਐਸਪੀ ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ, ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਿਆ ਸਕੇ। ਇਹ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਨ: ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਾਜੇਕੇ, ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਸੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ।
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਇੰਡੀਗੋ ਦੀ ਉਡਾਣ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੋਹਨਬਾਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੀ ਉਡਾਣ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ 2025 ਦੇ ਅੱਧ ਤੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।
The Punjab Police is set to bring back seven associates of Khadoor Sahib constituency Member of Parliament, Amritpal Singh, from Assam's Dibrugarh Central Jail today. According to officials, they were released after the expiration of their detention period under the National Security Act (NSA).
Following their release, the Punjab Police re-arrested them in connection with a new case involving an attack on a police station near Amritsar in 2023 and obtained their transit remand from the Dibrugarh court.
A 25-member team from the Punjab Police, led by SP Harinder Singh Gill, has been stationed in Dibrugarh for several days to securely transfer Amritpal Singh's associates to Punjab. The seven associates are: Kulwant Singh, Harjeet Singh, Gurinder Pal Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Bhagwant Singh alias Prime Minister Bajeke, Daljeet Singh Kalsi, and Basant Singh.
They will be transported to Punjab via two separate commercial flights. Three associates have already departed from Mohanbari Airport on an Indigo flight, while the remaining four will be brought on a subsequent flight.
Amritpal Singh and the remaining three associates are also expected to be transferred to Punjab by mid-2025.
