ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਧਮਾਕਾ: 30 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਸੱਦਿਆ
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 30 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਸੱਦਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਅੱਜ ਹੋਈ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਏਜੰਡਾ ਅਜੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕਿਆਸ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਰਸਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਲਈ ਫਾਈਲ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2025 ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦਿਆਂ 30 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਸੱਦਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ 'ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ, ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਜਾਂ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕੁਝ ਭਖਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਤਾ ਲਿਆ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਘੱਟ ਹੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ-ਭਲਾਈ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ
In a significant political move during the closing days of 2025, the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has announced a special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on December 30. The proposal was formally approved during a cabinet meeting held today at the Chief Minister's residence.
Speculation is rife in political circles regarding the agenda of this special session. It is believed that the government might bring forward significant resolutions on the state's law and order situation, agricultural crisis, or certain burning issues concerning the central government. Furthermore, this will be the first session following the recent Zila Parishad elections, providing an opportunity for opposition parties to challenge the government on various fronts.
The government has forwarded the request to the Governor for formal approval. Such sessions at the very end of the year are rare, making this move highly noteworthy. According to party sources, the Chief Minister might also use this platform to announce new public welfare schemes to mark an enthusiastic start to the New Year.
