ਭਾਰਤ-ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ’ਤੇ ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ

ਪੀਪਲਜ਼ ਡੈਮੋਕਰੈਟਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਪੀਡੀਪੀ) ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ ਨੇ ਮਸਜਿਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਸਰਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸਮੁਦਾਇ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦੇ-ਜੁਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਰੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਦਾ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਲਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੈ।

ਉੱਥੇ, ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ 1947 ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਿਛੇ ਧੱਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਹਿਸ਼ਣਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਵੱਲ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti expressed her objection to the recent surveys conducted at mosques. She remarked that the atrocities faced by the Hindu community in Bangladesh are comparable to the treatment of minorities in India.

Reacting to her comments, the BJP termed her statements as anti-national. Ravinder Raina, the BJP president for Jammu and Kashmir, stated that comparing Bangladesh’s situation to India is entirely misleading and against national security.

Meanwhile, Mehbooba Mufti said that India’s Hindu community has largely upheld secular values, but the political environment is pushing the country back to the conditions of 1947. She emphasized the need to protect the rights of all communities and promote religious tolerance across the nation.
