Horrific details have emerged in court about how a teenager was drugged and raped for more than 12 hours after her school formal in Auburn, Sydney.

The 18-year-old, who can’t be identified, was waiting for an Uber at Auburn train station at 3am after attending a formal after party in 2016, where she had been drinking heavily.

The year 12 student was lured into the wrong car and sexually assaulted, then taken to a house at Glenwood.

There, for more than 12 hours, she was raped by three men who drugged her with drinks spiked with GHB as well as methylamphetamine or “ice”, which they made her smoke from a pipe.

The pipe was held to her mouth as the victim was drooling and couldn’t lift her head
“It tasted like poison,” she told the court, “I remember not being able to move.”

The young woman endured five days of evidence in which videos of the “vile and degrading” sexual assaults by the men, taken on their phone, were played.

She said she remembered feeling “trapped under them”.

When the drugs and alcohol started wearing off, the teenager messaged a friend on Snapchat “OMFG – I got raped last night. So scared. Dude how am I going to get out of here?” she wrote.

She didn’t get out of the Glenwood house until close to 7pm, more than 15 hours after she was waiting for an Uber.

Ruhi Dagdanasar, 50, was today sentenced to 24 years jail, eligible for parole in 16 years.
His 39-year-old co-offender, who legally cannot be identified, will be locked up for at least 18 years.

After the attack, the men went on the run, hotel-hopping to evade police, booking rooms under a false name.

Police arrested them at a hotel at Brighton Le Sands, one man telling officers “I am a good looking man, I have lots of girls,” and “she was 18 there to have fun”.

During the trial, the men argued the sex was consensual, and provided the videos as alleged proof. This was rejected by the jury.

The court heard Dagdanasar had a criminal record spanning 11 pages.
His co-offender, had a rap sheet of 22 pages.

The third man is still on the run, living as a free man after fleeing to Turkey.
