A terminally ill mother witnessed the murder of her own son in a stabbing in south west Sydney.
Luke Lembryk,29, was allegedly killed by two intruders inside their Condell Park home.
His mother, Robyn, who is battling bone cancer, came face-to-face with the two men, who are now on the run, after they’d stabbed her son several times.
Badly injured he turned to his mother, telling her, “I am going to die” .
Sources say there was nothing she could do.
Police say she’s distraught but helping the investigation.
The sound of a man and woman screaming woke neighbours before 3am.
Other potential witnesses are also speaking with police.
Police claim the attack was targeted, but they’re not yet sure why.
Six years ago, Mr Lembryk was arrested in a drug raid investigating the supply of cocaine and ice.
Police confirmed he was known to them, but say it’s too early to know if that was a motive.
