Two people from Victoria and New South Wales are $5 million richer after winning last night’s Oz Lotto draw – but they may not know it yet.
The lucky pair both won the division one prize, meaning they have won $5.2m each.
In spite of the NSW entry being registered, lottery officials have been unable to get in contact with them.
The ticket was bought at Narellan Newsagency in southwest Sydney.
“We’ve sold multiple division one winning entries over the past 36 years, but the feeling never gets old,” newsagent David Thomsen said.
“We hope the winner can be united with their prize soon.”
The Victorian winner was not registered, meaning officials have no way of letting them know about their lucky win.
The lucky ticket was bought at Melton Lotto & TSG in Melbourne’s western outskirts.
” I took over the store three months ago and since then I’ve been praying and hoping we’d sell a division one winning entry,” owner Phong Thai said.
“I can’t stop smiling.”
The winning numbers in last night’s draw were 34, 7, 44, 10, 21, 40 and 9.
The supplementary numbers were 2 and 37.
