A 24-year-old man has been arrested after leading police on a car chase through Melbourne’s south-east.

Officers were called to an address on Mckenna Place in Pakenham this morning after reports that person was issuing threats.

A man fled the scene in a white ute, which police allege was driven erratically through a number of suburbs including Pakenham, Cranbourne and Narre Warren.

Police pursued the driver, with assistance from the air wing, with the driving failing to stop after colliding with another vehicle.

The car was involved in another minor collision when it pulled into a service station near the intersection of Frawley Road and Belgrave-Hallam Road.

The driver exited the vehicle and was quickly arrested. He is now being questioned by officers.
No one was injured during the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
