Boys arrested after allegedly leading police

A group of teenagers allegedly led police on a pursuit through the streets of Western Sydney before crashing into two other cars.

Police allege the boys, one of whom was only 12 and already before the courts, were in a stolen car when they were arrested in Hassall Grove last night.

Police began the pursuit about 9.30pm after spotting the stolen car in Luxford Road Shalvey.

officers terminated the pursuit when the stolen vehicle crossed onto the wrong side of the road on Carlisle Avenue, Bidwell.

Soon after, the car was involved in a crash with two other vehicles near the intersection of Luxford Road and Rooty Hill Road North at Hassall Grove where two boys, 12 and 15 were arrested.

Two others, aged 17 and 14, were found nearby after fleeing the scene.

The group were taken to Riverstone Police Station where the 15-year-old was released without charge.

The 12-year-old was charged with breach of bail.

The 17-year-old and 14-year-old were charged with breach of bail and carry and conveyance.
All three had bail refused to appear before Parramatta Children’s Court today.
